Improved

We improved SEO so your content stands out in search engines and social media.

Organic traffic is key to every store’s growth. That’s why we continue strengthening the platform to help improve visibility in search results and expand reach over time — SEO takes consistency, but every step matters.

Over the past weeks, we implemented key updates to optimize how your publications appear on the web and across networks:

  • Titles and descriptions: now generated more accurately and tailored for each page type.

  • Main URLs (Canonical URLs): we added tags that help search engines identify each page correctly.

  • Images and social tags: you can now customize the image shown when sharing your site on social media.

  • Legal pages: improved structure for easier reading and better display in search results.

💡 Result: greater visibility, better presentation, and stronger positioning for all your catalogs and publications.

New

A direct, frictionless buying experience—perfect for campaigns, promotions, and more.

Selling your publications or subscription plans is now simpler than ever. With Automatic Checkout, users can go straight to payment from a single link, with no extra steps. Ideal for marketing campaigns, social media, newsletters, or affiliate strategies, this new feature is designed to increase conversions and improve the buying experience.

How does it work?

When a user accesses a link with the correct parameters, the system detects their status (whether they’re logged in, already have access, etc.) and takes the appropriate action: it opens the checkout, redirects to the reader or library, or takes them to login while preserving their purchase intent.

You can also customize settings like currency, discount coupons, and subscription intervals with simple URL parameters.

Simpler, faster, more effective

This implementation removes friction and enables a smoother, more direct checkout experience. There’s no need to add products manually or go through multiple screens—one click is all it takes. Each link is configurable, so you can tailor the experience for every campaign, audience, or sales channel.

Choose which transactional emails are sent from Publica.la and which ones you manage externally.

Administrators can now enable or disable individual email notifications—such as registration emails, purchase confirmations, or shipping updates—directly from the dashboard.

This update lets you integrate external platforms (like Braze, Customer.io, or custom systems) without duplicating notifications, making it easier to manage automated communications.

Our service has been partially restored following the external AWS (DynamoDB) incident. Stores are now mainly operating normally.

While AWS reports partial recovery on their side, they continue to work on the incident. It is not 100% resolved, and we continue to experience isolated instability. Our team will continue to closely monitor performance to ensure stability and react quickly to any anomalies.

If you notice anything unusual, please reach out through your usual support channel.

Hi there 👋

We regret to inform that some stores may currently experience temporary slowdowns or interruptions due to an ongoing issue in one of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) core systems —the infrastructure provider we use to run Publica.la’s platforms, once again.

The issue originates in DynamoDB, a foundational AWS service that is also affecting other components across their network. Although the situation is outside our direct control, our team is closely monitoring updates and staying in contact with AWS to follow their recovery progress.

You can track the real-time status of AWS services directly here:

And also check the overall status of Publica.la’s platform on our own status page:

Once AWS restores normal operations, all stores should automatically return to their usual performance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while the provider works to stabilize their systems. For any further information don´t hesitate to contact us at support@publica.la.

New

TL;DR: you can now pause a user’s subscription indefinitely with the “Pausar Indefinidamente” action and reactivate it anytime.

This builds on recent subscription improvements (e.g., coupons for the first billing cycles) and delivers on what we previewed in the new Subscriptions Dashboard.

What’s changing?

Until now, you could either keep a subscription active or cancel it. With Pausar Indefinidamente, you get an in-between state to stop billing and access without losing the plan’s history or settings.

How it works

  • In the Subscriptions Dashboard, open a subscriber and click Pause Indefinitely.

  • The subscription remains Paused until you choose Resume.

  • When reactivated, the cycle continues as defined by the plan rules.

Availability

  • Available now in the Subscriptions Dashboard.
